Les Lointaines

Drawing upon society’s fascination with travel and the cosmos, we invited the public to embark on an extraordinary, dream-like exploration of outer space. The project is an ode to curiosity and adventure which celebrates the idea of a personal journey that is both poetic and melancholic.

We employed a multidisciplinary mix of photo-montage, video, 3D renders and vector animation to create dynamic and surreal imagery in bright, shimmering colors. The Pavillion Président-Kennedy UQAM serves not only as the canvas of this work but also as the structural blueprint housing the space shuttle animation, whose structure is demarcated by the architectural lines of the facade.
